A Rewarding Day in Nuwara Eliya

Today was an unforgettable day in Nuwara Eliya as we distributed 1,320 bedkits to children from 17 different schools. Seeing so many smiling faces is a great reminder of the impact that generosity and community can have.

At lunchtime, we had the opportunity to visit a beautiful Hindu temple, where we participated in a traditional blessing ceremony. 

Once the distribution was complete, we enjoyed a little free time exploring the local market. With the help of the Rotarians accompanying us, many of us managed to find some great bargains. We also discovered that many international brands have products manufactured in Sri Lanka, including Patagonia, Columbia, Lululemon, and Nike.

We are grateful to everyone who helped make this day possible and look forward to the days still to come.
