SCAW BLOG: TOGO, 2026: OCTOBER 17

Today was our last distribution in Togo. Our site was at the school that stored the bedkits at no cost to ADES (our overseas partners).

This school had quite a few trees that provide shade for the children. Along with the shade they provide mangoes.

Getting to each site can be a challenge at the best of times .

Our driver - Edem has been our driver, our friend and our protector. He gets us to our destination and back every day with such grace. He is a gentleman with a quiet disposition and a father of three - ages twelve, ten and three.

Driving here is an experience. Motorcycles are a major mode of transportation, but they do not use lanes. That in itself can be challenging.

We have a special thank you to our driver who has made this a safe and amazing experience.
