Sleeping Children Around the World, a 100% charity, held its first ever Sleep Day in November of 2016.
Plan to join us for the second annual Sleep Day on November 3rd, 2017. We encourage all Canadians to participate by going to school or work in your pyjamas in preparation for the end of Daylight Saving Time on Sunday, November 5th.
By providing a small donation, you can help improve the lives of countless children in developing countries with the aid of a much needed bedkit. To support a country's local economy, bedkits are created in the country of distribution, and include important items integral to a child's growth: a mattress and bedding, mosquito nets, and a backpack and school supplies. Visit the Bedkits page to learn more.
Your participation on November 3rd is a simple yet impactful way to give children who are less fortunate a chance to thrive in challenging conditions.
WEAR YOUR PYJAMAS ON NOVEMBER 3rd:
Whether you're a big company, a small community organization, or a local school, every pair of pyjamas worn helps a child in need receive a better night's sleep.
"Quality sleep in children is important for a healthy mind, body and spirit. The work of SCAW provides sleep environments for children in impoverished nations around the world. The CSS supports this important work that will improve the health and wellbeing of children around the world through improving sleep". - Canadian Sleep Society CSS
