Any Excess of Donations over Bedkits Funded is carried forward to future years to buy bedkits. In 2005, SCAW received
a large bequest that, as is customary, will be used in future years
to fund bedkits.
Operating expenses of $99,028 for the year ended February 28, 2007 ($103,166 for 2006) were covered by the Sleeping Children
Around The World Investment Account set
up by Murray Dryden. Our financial
structure ensures that 100% of bedkit donations are used only to
buy bedkits.
All Canadian registered charities are required to submit each year an Annual Information Return to the Canada Customs and Revenue Agency (CCRA).
- SCAW 's Annual Information Returns are available on the CCRA web-site (Click on the link to go to the site.)
- Once on this site, enter Sleeping Children Around The World in the 'Charity Name' box, and hit 'Search'.
- When the next screen appears, put your cursor on the icon below the words 'Information Return' and click.
- When the next screen appears, select the most recent year-end for the most recent Information Return, or select another year if you wish to look at other returns submitted.
